I've been a foundation girl as long as I can remember, but lately I've been trying to pull back a bit and use it more sparingly in hopes of clearing out my skin. Foundation can clog up your pores and cause breakouts so I've been trying to switch over to just powder and concealer where I need it. I wanted to try a low-end product, a high-end one, and something in the middle. This is what I have come up with.....

For the cheaper option I chose a stick from Covergirl. It has low-medium coverage, it isn't cakey at all, medium pigment, and lasts a really long time. I think it does make your face appear oily after a few hours so if you already have oily skin, it might not be the best option. I will most likely repurchase to keep in my bag for touch ups. You can buy it at just about any drugstore.

For the moderately priced concealer, I went with the Sephora Brand one, I think the Sephora Brand products are totally underrated, I never see other bloggers or youtubers talk about them, but I love Sephora's make up line! I thought this concealer had a great texture, not cakey, very pigmented, and it has two different tips! A smaller tip which is in one end and a chunkier tip which is on the other. I find this really convenient for getting smaller spots without waisting the product. I loved this one and I know I will repurchase it again. It's my favorite so far since it gets the job done and lasts forever. I've had it almost 4 months now and have plenty left! You can obviously only get it at Sephora.

I had never tried anything from NARS before so I figured this would be a good time to try. I think NARS does two different types of concealers, one in a stick, one in a tube. I tried the liquid one in a tube which I would say is creamier more then it is liquid. This concealer had GREAT coverage, it gets a little bit cakey, but it is very pigmented and will literally cover any blemish very easily. On a negative note, I've had it only two months and can tell I'm about to run out, so you don't get very much bang for your buck. This is the only reason I don't think I will repurchase it. You can get it at Sephora, Nordstrom and Neiman's.
